The Opportunity
As a firefighter with IVFD, you will be part of a trusted emergency response team serving Independence and Tangipahoa Parish. You will receive professional training, respond to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies, and work side by side with experienced firefighters dedicated to protecting lives and property.

Applicant Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must successfully pass a background check and physical evaluation.
